Love Marriage?
If one has an arranged marriage and eventually starts loving the person that they marry, does that not become a love marriage?

Why make it a mountain when its only a molehill? Life is short. Let's keep it simple!

cant comment cause i dont like the concept of arranged marriage.....
Gee I'm too young to answer this!
I guess it could be a 'love'ly arranged marriage,then.
:)
@ Ceedy, Sad but that's how most of our parents got married.
@ Clouds, nice way to put it!
In my opinion, it turns into a happy and complete marriage. In the end, isn't that the most important thing ?
@ Darshini - Very Well said!couldln't have said it better! yes, all that matters is that the 2 people are happy n content with each other.
I have seen equal number of love and arranged marriages - succeed n fail... really hard to say which is better!
@ Darshini, exactly my point!
Some comments above me expressed the same feelings as mine. Anyways, let me bring forward my feelings too.
A marriage is about bonding of two(or more, because of the families) souls. As long as this bond is strong, it doesn't matter whether you loved and then married or whether you married and then loved. I can't find a word that defines the type of marriage you told about, but there is a word for the couple who are like this: "made-for-each-other".
marriage should be based upon LOVE anyways. :)
Keshi.
@ Satish, a couple could be made for each other, but sometimes the families are definitely not! LOL!
i meant the phrase for couple only...... :(
Well its more like
"Love After Marriage"
lolz yes how true :P
Love cannot by itself move a long way...
A couple needs to try to make it move..
whether its love marriage or arranged...
Love needs time to pop in and it only pops in if it finds tat there's an understanding between the couple..
so in a love marriage also the love can fade away....where as in a arranged marriage it can be DEVELOPED ':)'

well I won't get started - but my answer would be 'no'.
It's more like "Marriage Love" to me.
I hope I have a Love Marriage Love!
ultimately love the marriage. whether you got into it after loving or got to love after getting into it.
